What needs to be done to support a compiler that doesn't have cdecl, etc attributes? Is it possible for this to matter on platforms other than Windows (maybe x86 Unix wanting to call Windows DLLs)? Is it possible that blowing up could be pushed to runtime instead of while compiling Ruby? Steve
