Malloc problem

OK, I've got an ugly one:

dave[Work/rubybook 12:03:02] cat x.tip | ruby util/code.rb -name
ref_c_class.tip >/dev/null
*** malloc[20140]: Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0x865d8; This
could be a double free(), or free() called with the middle of an
allocated block; Try setting environment variable MallocHelp to see

The problem is, I can't packge this up to send it in: any change I make
(even to the location of the source files) fixes the problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can try to track this down?

Cheers

Dave
