Could you please be more specific about which parts are missing?
I can not see big differences:
* http://ruby-doc.org/stdlib-2.0.0/libdoc/socket/rdoc/TCPServer.html
* http://ruby-doc.org/stdlib-2.3.1/libdoc/socket/rdoc/TCPServer.html
----------------------------------------
Feature #12735: TCP Server documentation improvement
https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/12735#change-63278
* Author: Julien BONNET
* Status: Feedback
* Priority: Normal
* Assignee: Zachary Scott
* Target version:
----------------------------------------
Between version 2.0.0 and 2.3.1, documentation has shrunk a lot.
It could be useful to keep the original content
and add the example TCPServer.new('0.0.0.0', 2000) to receive a connection from any PC connected to the network
