Hi, first time poster, short time lurker... Several years ago I was partly involved with the Linux Kernel Newbies and Linux Kernel Janitors project. It was a great way to get my beginner hands dirty had some rudimentary kernel hacking. I have since moved away from Linux and I am using OS X (see the email address). I have never had as much 'fun' programming as I have with ruby, which I picked up middle of last year. I would like to contribute back to the community in any way possible, unfortunately I have very little language and compiler design experience. So, long story long... Is there a running list of documentation, cleanup, painstaking tickets anywhere for a newbie to jump on? I was hoping to find a list similar to those contained on the Newbies and Janitor projects linked below... Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anything.
